Christmas letters update

Family letters
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

I have been really bad about writing my annual letters over the past few years so I finally caught up. I had written one for 2001 but didn't send out Christmas cards that year so nobody got to read it. I didn't write a letter at all for 2002-2005 so I finally got around to it and did them all at once a few months ago. For 2006, I actually wrote it on time, but again I didn't send any Christmas cards out so it will only be showing up here on my website. I have also added some pictures to all of the letters and put in links to other pictures in the media gallery for all of the events mentioned in the letters.

You can see everything here.

Love,
Bill

2005 Christmas letter

Family letters
Hello Everyone,

Here is part 4 of my 4-year gap in my Holiday letters. Hey I’m just about done! I really need to keep up with these. It’s entirely too much work trying to remember everything that happened in a 4-year span.

2005 started off with me being a new father, doing well at my job and already having received a promotion, living with my wife Maria in our townhome, and driving a Honda Accord (family car) and not having a bike for the first time in a long time.

2004 Christmas letter

Family letters

Hello Everyone,

Here is part 3 of my 4-year gap in my Holiday letters. This is going pretty well so far. My memories from the last few years aren't totally blank yet. There is always a kind of selective amnesia I guess but who wants to remember those bad things that happened anyway?

2004 started off with me having a brand new job, living with my wife Maria in our new townhome, and driving a Honda Accord although I still have an old bike I used on occasion.

2003 Christmas letter

Family letters

Hello Everyone,

Here is part 2 of my 4-year gap in my Holiday letters. I promise not to get too far behind on these again. Although I wonder if anyone is really going to read them anyway now that they are going straight online and not being mailed out along with a Christmas card.

2003 started off with me having a job, living with my wife Maria, graduated from college, and still only having a motorcycle for transportation.

2002 Christmas letter

Family letters
Hello Everyone,

I haven’t written one of these letters in awhile so I’ll try to cram 4 years into this one. Four years is a long time and of course a lot has happened in that period. I definitely need to try to keep up with these letters more from now on because some of the things that happened a few years ago are already a little fuzzy. Here is a little peak into my life as far as I remember it.

2002 started off with me being unemployed, living with my sister, going to college, and only having a motorcycle for transportation.

2001 Christmas letter

Family letters
Dear Everyone,

Merry belated Christmas and Happy belated New Year! I know that I should have written this letter long ago, but I guess it is better late then never. I'm sorry for not sending out any cards in 2001. Things have been very busy lately and I promise to make time for cards in 2002. Another strange year has passed and I am starting to wonder if they all are going to be strange. They never seem to turn out the way I expect them to. In one of my letters a couple of years ago I mentioned that I should take things one day at a time but I'm not sure if that is possible. I am always thinking ahead even while life is constantly moving and changing my plans. I suppose it is best this way because if everything turned out like I had planned then I would never be surprised. Here are some of the surprises that I experienced in 2001.

2000 Christmas letter

Family letters
Merry Christmas Everyone,

Where has this year gone? It's already December 12 and I don't even have my Christmas letter written. I need to find the willpower to stop playing video games on my computer for a couple of days or my Christmas cards will arrive late. But playing Star Wars: Rogue Squadron is just so much fun. I've always wanted to fly an X-wing and now I can. Here is what has happened in my life this year and led to my current state of fighting the Empire.

1999 Christmas letter

Family letters
Merry Christmas Everyone,

They say time flies when you're having fun and this year has flown by so I must of been having some fun. For most of the year I was unemployed which I really enjoyed. It gave me plenty of time to relax and I never got bored or restless which everyone always seemed to wonder about. All of this free time and a little money from my accident settlement also meant that I could do some traveling before I needed to return to work. I visited many wonderful places before I started to work at eToys towards the end of the year. Here is a rundown of my life in 1999:
